This pattern punch and pattern notcher is a great quality all in 1 tool. After using it at Sew It we would highly recommend this tool. I personally purchased a plastic pattern punch for around $100 about 7 years ago and was disappointed with the quality. This pattern punch is far superior to the $100 model plus you get a notcher included.

Sew Mate Seam Maker Set - Dressmaking
The Dressmaking Seam Maker Set
We just got in these nifty new seam makers! I wish these were available when I was at fashion school! They save so much time when adding seams to your garment patterns. Seam makers are used to add seams to your patterns. They are especially handy for adding seams around curves.
How to Use it
Simply put your pencil through the center of the seam maker. Then position the pattern in the groove of the seam maker. As you run the seam maker along the pattern you will be left with a perfect seam. The 15mm size is suggested for cuff, armhole, waistband and 20mm for side seam.

This fourth edition of Metric Pattern Cutting for Children's Wear and Babywear remains the standard text book but has three majorimprovements. First, the sections have been re-organised to reflect changes in producing and marketing children's clothes. Today's popularity of easy-fitting styles and knitted fabrics means that basic 'flat' pattern cutting is used to construct the majority of children's wear and babywear and this type of cutting is therefore emphasised in this new edition.
