Introducing Creative Grids Quilting Rulers!
The Creative Grids Alaska Ruler, designed by Edyta Sitar of Laundry Basket Quilts, cuts a multitude of shapes in a variety of sizes. Cut 45° wedges, diamonds, squares and half-square triangles all with the same ruler! The instructions include how to make a basic kaleidoscope block as well as an Alaska block in four different sizes, from 9 to 16-inches.
The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, our exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts!

This 90 degree triangle cuts quarter triangles up to a finished size of 8 inches. Since the tip is trimmed, all squares and triangles can be cut from the same strip of fabric. Sew four together to create quarter-square triangles up to a finished size of 16 inches. A 1/4 inch dashed line is printed on each side of the center vertical line so you can cut 45 degree triangles that include the seam allowance. A dashed 1/4 inch seam allowance is printed around the entire edge of the ruler.

Use these lines to center and trim embroidery designs, applique blocks, and even fussy cut T-Shirts for T-Shirt quilts. (Fussy cutting is choosing a specific design in the fabric to showcase in your project.) The drilled holes at 1-1/2 to 8-1/2 inch increments, make it possible to square up, mark and add the seam allowance to any block. To fussy cut, center a fabric design in the 1 – 9 inch printed black solid squares. Mark the fabric through the drilled holes to add the seam allowance to your fussy cut piece - marked with a white dashed line on the ruler. Simply connect the dots and cut to size.

Creative Grids 8.5" Triangle 60 degree
Cut 30 and 60 degree angles up to a finished height of 8 inches. This 60 degree equilateral triangle features easy to read black and white markings. A 1/4" dashed line is printed on each side of the center vertical line so you can cut 30o triangles that include the seam allowance.

The 6 inch Log Cabin Trim Tool features exclusive markings to create perfect finished Log Cabin; Half Log Cabin; or Courthouse Steps blocks. After adding each round of logs, place the appropriate centering square on the ruler over the center square of the block and trim. Since each round is squared up before the next set of logs are added, the results are spectacular. The cutting instructions for the strip widths and center square are printed right on the tool!

This multi-sized ruler features the two triangles required to complete a flying geese unit - 45 and 90 degrees - in one tool. Cut flying geese units up to a finished size of 6 x 12 inches. Or, use the triangles individually to cut half-square triangles up to a finished size of 6 inches and cut quarter-square triangles up to a finished size of 12 inches. The math required to cut these angles is incorporated into the easy to read black and white markings.
