Introducing the Love Bomber knitting pattern! This cozy drop-shoulder cardigan is made with thick yarn and chunky needles, allowing it to knit up in record time. Featuring a ribbed neckline, over-sized fit, and balloon cuffs, this cardigan is sure to become a staple in your wardrobe. The heart motif on the back adds a touch of whimsy.
The Love Bomber comes in three size options and is knit from the bottom up as one piece before dividing off at the underarms. The sleeves are knit in the round from top down, making for a seamless finish.
Please note that due to the bulky yarn used in this pattern, it is not recommended to use straight needles. We suggest using circular needles to accommodate the extra length.
This pattern is best suited for advanced level knitters and above. For those who prefer visual aids, the pattern includes a chart for the heart motif. Start knitting your own Love Bomber today and enjoy the process of creating a cozy, statement cardigan!
We recommend a chunky yarn that asks for 15mm needles on the label.

The ultimate in cosy winter sweaters, the Deep Raglan knitting pattern features deep sleeves, crew neckline and balloon cuffs for extreme comfort.
This sweater is knit in the round as one piece from the top down for zero seaming. The neckline is picked up and knit before being folded to the inside and hand sewn in place.
Suitable for Intermediate level knitters and above.
We recommend lofty, lightweight yarns for drape and softness eg single-ply, mohair, possum-blends, silk-blends or alpaca yarns in 8 ply/DK weight or, in some cases, 5 ply/sport (please check gauge first).
Model wears approx 32 cm / 12.5” positive ease. Designed to be worn with 5-20 cm / 2-8” ease depending on your personal preference. Sizes read as A (B, C, D) (E, F, G, H).
Finished bust measurements: cm = 102.5 (111.5, 120, 129) (141, 148.5, 161, 170) / inches = 40.25 (43.75, 47.25, 50.75) (55.75, 58.5, 63.25, 66.75)"
Yarn Quantity: metres = 1121 (1211, 1324, 1427) (1580, 1665, 1831, 1932) / yards = 1225 (1324, 1448, 1561) (1728, 1821, 2002, 2113).
Needles: 3.5 mm/US 4 circular needle for ribbing and 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needle, or size to obtain gauge. NOTE: The sleeves are worked in the round using the magic loop method, but you could just opt to use a shorter cord with your circulars or use DPNs.

For best results, we recommend using a 12 ply/Bulky weight yarn, especially a luxurious mohair or mohair blend.
Finished bust measurements (excluding neckband) in cm: 82.5 (87.5, 91.5, 96.5, 101.5, 105) (110, 115, 119, 124, 129), and in inches: 33 (35, 36.5, 38.5, 40.5, 42) (44, 46, 47.5, 49.5, 51.5).

Colour #2 requires 109 metres or 120 yards for all sizes.
If you're omitting the color change, combine the meterage or yardage for both colors based on your size.
Recommended needles are 5.5 mm and 4.5 mm circular needles with an 80 cm cord.
Note: the body is knitted flat while the sleeves are worked in the round using circular needles and the Magic Loop method; if you prefer using DPNs for sleeves, have a set of 4 DPNs in each needle size.
