The Continental M6 is the entry model into the Continental range.

The work-area is the biggest on any Janome sewing machine at 13.5″ | 343mm. Lighting is always a consideration, the CM6 offers bright LED lighting in 4 locations including above the needle area. The large flat colour touch screen at 7″ is easy to navigate.

With 400 built-in stitches grouped in their stitch families, the right stitch is easy to locate. Customise each stitch including buttonholes then save them as a favourite stitch. Sewing Applications is better than an instruction book, let the machine do it for you, select the technique, select the stitch, the machine sets the stitch settings, attach the right foot then sew.

To personalize your sewing, you can create your own stitches using the Stitch Composer Software (windows only) supplied as a download to machine owners. It’s the little things that make the difference, press a button on screen to automatically lift the needle plate (no screws). This machine is equipped with Janome’s AcuFeed System (upper feed system), though the AcuFeed feet are an optional purchase for this model.

This engineering marvel features industry-leading technology so you can deliver Hi-Definition Embroidery, Quilting and Sewing. 

The Continental M17 combines great convenience features you have come to expect from a Janome machine but also a few industry firsts including the largest ever Embroidery frame measuring 280mm x 460mm! 

Another amazing feature is the A.S.R Accurate Stitch Regulator which comes with 3 different feet including one for Ruler Work! It is now easier than ever to change your embroidery hoops witht he simple lever mechanism. The CM17 comes with a huge amount opf accessories too, with 35 sewing machine feet and 5 Embroidery Hoops! 

1,230 built-in embroidery designs are standard, including Designer Collections, ten embroidery fonts, and In-the-Hoop projects that will keep you engaged and creative for hours. The RE46d Hoop offers a 11.3” x 18.2” embroidery area. Created with Carbon Fiber infused plastic, this large hoop is 10X stronger than metal! You can now position your designs perfectly with the laser aligning feature as well.

Another fantastic feature is Floating mode, allowing the machine to not extend full preasure to the presser foot while feeding fabric. Perfect for sewing curved seams or areas where fullness is eased and the fabric needs to be manipulated while sewing.

The CM17 features two advanced LCD touch screens! Edit, design and create on the large, 5.3″ x 8.5″ LCD touchscreen, showing you the results in amazing clarity.
